€66.74

Costed for a return trip that leaves one day and comes back 7 days later, so the destination is covered for all 8 calendar days and every country on the way is crossed twice. A longer stay moves a country to a longer e‑vignette and changes the total: the planner works out your own dates.

The countries you cross, in order

  • Germany

No vignette and no motorway tolls for cars.

  • Austria

10-day e‑vignette, covering the 2 days you are in the country

    €21.75
  • Hungary

10-day e‑vignette, covering the 2 days you are in the country

    €28.39
  • Romania

10-day e‑vignette, covering the 8 days you are in the country

    €16.60

No vignette is needed in Germany.

The drive

Fifteen hundred kilometres and three e‑vignettes, the last of which is the odd one out. Austria and Hungary charge for their motorway networks; Romania charges for the national roads as well, so the rovinieta is running from the moment you leave Nădlac whatever road you take. Two days of driving each way is the usual shape of this trip, which is what decides the lengths.
