The drive
Motorway runs all the way to the Romanian border on this drive. Since September 2020 the Nagykereki to Borศ II crossing has joined Hungary's M4 to a five kilometre stretch of Romania's A3 near Oradea, the second motorway link between the two countries (Embassy of Hungary in Bucharest, checked 24 September 2026). From Borศ the rovinieta takes over, and on the national road through Oradea to Cluj-Napoca it is due just as it is on the motorway.
