Vignettes from Zurich to Innsbruck

Via St Margrethen, Feldkirch, Bludenz and the Arlberg tunnel.

You need 2 vignettes, Swiss and Austrian.

€81.62

for a car: official fees €56.28 plus our service fee €25.34.

Costed for a return trip that leaves one day and comes back 7 days later, so the destination is covered for all 8 calendar days and every country on the way is crossed twice. A longer stay moves a country to a longer vignette and changes the total: the planner works out your own dates.

The countries you cross, in order

annual vignette, covering the 2 days you are in the country

    €60.87
official €43.48 plus our fee €17.39

  • Austria

10-day vignette, covering the 8 days you are in the country

    €20.75

Tolls the vignette does not cover

the Arlberg road tunnel
The S16 between the St. Anton am Arlberg and Langen am Arlberg junctions charges its own toll at the portal, on top of the vignette.

These are paid at the barrier on the day and are not part of the total above.

The drive

Zurich to Innsbruck runs east along the Rhine valley into Vorarlberg before the road climbs to the Arlberg tunnel, the way through to Tyrol that avoids the old pass road over the top. Switzerland is a single vignette sticker for the whole year, and once across the border an Austrian vignette covers everything on this drive except the tunnel itself, which is billed separately at the portal.
