The drive
Zurich to Innsbruck runs east along the Rhine valley into Vorarlberg before the road climbs to the Arlberg tunnel, the way through to Tyrol that avoids the old pass road over the top. Switzerland is a single e‑vignette sticker for the whole year, and once across the border an Austrian e‑vignette covers everything on this drive except the tunnel itself, which is billed separately at the portal.
