Via Cologne, Munich, Salzburg, Villach, the Karawanks tunnel and Ljubljana.
You need 2 e‑vignettes, Austrian and Slovenian.
€66.55
Croatia has no e‑vignette: its motorway tolls are paid at the toll booth, and we do not sell those.
Costed for a return trip that leaves one day and comes back 7 days later, so the destination is covered for all 8 calendar days and every country on the way is crossed twice. A longer stay moves a country to a longer e‑vignette and changes the total: the planner works out your own dates.
The countries you cross, in order
the Netherlands
No vignette and no motorway tolls for cars. The Westerschelde tunnel charges separately.
Germany
No vignette and no motorway tolls for cars.
- €21.75
10-day e‑vignette, covering the 2 days you are in the country
- €44.80
monthly e‑vignette, covering the 2 days you are in the country
Croatia
Motorway tolls are charged per section and paid at toll stations or by transponder.
No vignette is needed in the Netherlands and Germany. Croatia charges tolls on the road instead of a vignette.
Tolls the e‑vignette does not cover
- the Tauern and Katschberg tunnels
- The A10 between Salzburg and Villach charges a separate toll for its two tunnels, paid at the barrier.
- the Karawanks tunnel
- The A11 tunnel into Slovenia charges a toll at the portal that neither the Austrian nor the Slovenian e‑vignette covers.
These are paid at the barrier on the day and are not part of the total above.
The drive
Croatia is the destination and it is the one country on the way that sells no e‑vignette at all. The stretch from the Slovenian border to Zagreb has no ticket: you pay one fixed toll as you pass the Bregana plaza, in euro, by card or in cash, until barrier-free tolling replaces the plazas on 1 March 2027. Everything before that is bought in advance: an Austrian e‑vignette, a Slovenian one, and the two Austrian tunnel tolls paid at the portal.
