Via Cologne, Munich, Salzburg, Villach and the Karawanks tunnel.
You need 2 e‑vignettes, Austrian and Slovenian.
€66.55
Costed for a return trip that leaves one day and comes back 7 days later, so the destination is covered for all 8 calendar days and every country on the way is crossed twice. A longer stay moves a country to a longer e‑vignette and changes the total: the planner works out your own dates.
The countries you cross, in order
the Netherlands
No vignette and no motorway tolls for cars. The Westerschelde tunnel charges separately.
Germany
No vignette and no motorway tolls for cars.
- €21.75
10-day e‑vignette, covering the 2 days you are in the country
- €44.80
monthly e‑vignette, covering the 8 days you are in the country
No vignette is needed in the Netherlands and Germany.
Tolls the e‑vignette does not cover
- the Tauern and Katschberg tunnels
- The A10 between Salzburg and Villach charges a separate toll for its two tunnels, paid at the barrier.
- the Karawanks tunnel
- The A11 tunnel into Slovenia charges a toll at the portal that neither the Austrian nor the Slovenian e‑vignette covers.
These are paid at the barrier on the day and are not part of the total above.
The drive
Two e‑vignettes and two barriers. The Austrian e‑vignette carries you from Kufstein to the Slovenian border, but the A10 tunnels south of Salzburg and the Karawanks tunnel at the border both charge on top of it, in cash or by card at the portal. The Slovenian e‑vignette starts on the far side and is linked to the plate, so there is nothing to display.
