The drive
Two vignettes for about 330 kilometres, and less of the Czech half is charged than the map suggests. The D1 is charged from Průhonice outside Prague to the Kývalka junction west of Brno and is free around Brno itself; south of the city the D52 is charged only from Rajhrad to Pohořelice, and the road on to Mikulov costs nothing (eDálnice section list, checked 24 September 2026). The Austrian vignette starts on the A5 just across the border at Drasenhofen.
