The drive
The Polish toll on this drive is paid on the road and the Austrian one in advance. West of Poznaล the A2 to the German border at ลwiecko is a private concession run by Autostrada Wielkopolska, which still charges cars, unlike the state-run A2 east of Konin, free for cars since 1 July 2023 (e-TOLL, checked 24 September 2026). Germany then adds nothing for more than 700 kilometres, and one Austrian vignette covers the Inntal motorway from Kufstein into Innsbruck.
