Everything clear before you set off

Via Dresden, Prague, Brno and the Mikulov crossing.

You need 2 e‑vignettes, Czech and Austrian.

€43.31

Costed for a return trip that leaves one day and comes back 7 days later, so the destination is covered for all 8 calendar days and every country on the way is crossed twice. A longer stay moves a country to a longer e‑vignette and changes the total: the planner works out your own dates.

The countries you cross, in order

  • Germany

No vignette and no motorway tolls for cars.

  • Czechia

10-day e‑vignette, covering the 2 days you are in the country

    €21.56
  • Austria

10-day e‑vignette, covering the 8 days you are in the country

    €21.75

No vignette is needed in Germany.

The drive

The short way south goes through Czechia, and that adds a second e‑vignette. Berlin to Vienna through Dresden, Prague and Brno is roughly 670 kilometres and needs a Czech e‑vignette as well as an Austrian one. The route through Bavaria and Passau needs only the Austrian e‑vignette, and costs about 130 kilometres and an hour more. Which is cheaper depends on how long each e‑vignette has to last.
