What this vignette covers
The annual vignette covers the vignette year, which runs from 1 December of the previous year until 31 January of the following year: 14 months of usable validity. Bought online by a consumer, it can start on the 18th day after purchase at the earliest.
It is valid on Austria's motorways and expressways. Some routes (the Brenner motorway and several tunnel and alpine roads) carry a separate section toll that a vignette does not cover.
