The drive
Ukraine and Poland sell no vignette, so the one vignette on this drive is Czech, and it is not needed at the Polish border. The D1 is free from the border to the Ostrava-Rudná junction and charged from there to Prague, with free gaps around Přerov and Brno (eDálnice section list, checked 24 September 2026). Poland charges once, on the A4 between Kraków and Katowice, a private concession paid as you drive; the A4 east of Kraków, back to the Korczowa crossing, is free.
