The drive
The direct eastbound drive from Iasi to Chisinau crosses the Prut at Ungheni and puts Romania's rovinieta beside Moldova's vignette in the same trip plan. Romania's road charge is linked to the plate, while Moldova also asks for the vehicle identification number and identity document details when the vignette is registered. Buy both before leaving the motorway network.
