Everything clear before you set off

Via Dresden, the Petrovice crossing and Ústí nad Labem.

You need 1 e‑vignette, Czech.

€21.56

Costed for a return trip that leaves one day and comes back 7 days later, so the destination is covered for all 8 calendar days and every country on the way is crossed twice. A longer stay moves a country to a longer e‑vignette and changes the total: the planner works out your own dates.

The countries you cross, in order

  • Germany

No vignette and no motorway tolls for cars.

  • Czechia

10-day e‑vignette, covering the 8 days you are in the country

    €21.56

No vignette is needed in Germany.

The drive

Three hundred and fifty kilometres, of which only the Czech D8 is charged. The e‑vignette covers motorways, so the parallel first-class road down the Elbe valley is free and slow, and most drivers take the D8 and pay. A single day's e‑vignette is enough to get there, but the day you drive home needs its own cover.
