the Netherlands

Belgium
No vignette and no motorway tolls for cars. The Liefkenshoek tunnel near Antwerp charges separately.
France
Motorway tolls are charged per section and paid at toll stations or by transponder.
No vignette is needed in the Netherlands and Belgium. France charges tolls on the road instead of a vignette.
The drive
Sarlat and the wider Dordogne are one of the most visited parts of France for Dutch campers, and the drive there from Amsterdam runs close to a thousand kilometres, most of it French autoroute paid by section from Orléans onward. The Netherlands and Belgium add nothing to the bill, though Belgium's free ride will not last forever: its regions agreed in July 2026 on a vignette linked to the plate rather than a sticker, starting in 2027. Nothing changes for this trip until that date arrives.
