Where to buy a Bulgarian e-vignette

Where can you buy a Bulgarian e-vignette?

Buy it from the Road Infrastructure Agency at bgtoll.bg and you pay the official price and nothing more. Terminals at the border crossings and points at fuel stations sell it too. We are an independent service that buys it for you and shows a service fee separately.

The operator's own shop is the cheapest route

The official e-shop at bgtoll.bg sells every period at the published tariff and adds nothing on top of it. Anyone who tells you a Bulgarian vignette has to cost more than the tariff is selling you something.

Use the official shop when you are content with a Bulgarian government site, have your registration document to hand and are not in a hurry.

Terminals and fuel stations sell it at the border

Self-service terminals at the border crossings and points at fuel stations issue the e-vinetka on the spot, which suits a driver who arranged nothing before setting off. You pay the tariff there as well.

Stop at the first terminal after the crossing rather than driving on to look for one, because the charge begins on the network and not at a town.

What we add, and what it costs

We are an independent service and not the operator. We take the order in English, buy the e-vinetka against your plate and send the confirmation, and our service fee sits on the Bulgarian e-vinetka prices page beside the official price rather than hidden inside it.

That is worth paying when you would rather not deal with the operator's site, and not worth paying when you would. Compare the two, then pick the period that matches your dates.

Whichever route you take, confirm the register

The purchase means nothing until the register holds it against your plate, and that is as true of the operator's own shop as of ours. The check by registration number is public and takes seconds.

Run it once the confirmation arrives, and keep the reference in case the record and your dates ever disagree.
