The official fee is what Schweiz charges; the service fee is ours. You can always buy directly from das Bundesamt für Zoll und Grenzsicherheit and pay only the official fee. Official prices effective from 2025-12-01.
Schweiz publishes its prices in CHF. The official CHF figure is the authoritative one; the euro amount is what we charge, converted at 0.92 CHF/EUR. If you pay the operator directly you pay the CHF price.
