The western route joins the A6 towards Waidhaus and becomes the Czech D5 after Rozvadov, with Plzeň on the way to Prague. Germany charges no motorway toll for this passenger-car journey, so the Czech e-vignette is the only road pass to arrange. Buy it online before the border or use an official cashless kiosk in the border area, then verify the plate before leaving Rozvadov.
