Vignettes from Vienna to Venice

Via Graz, Klagenfurt, Villach, the Tarvisio crossing and Udine.

You need one vignette, Austrian.

€18.75

for a car: official fees €12.80 plus our service fee €5.95.

Costed for a return trip that leaves one day and comes back 7 days later, so the destination is covered for all 8 calendar days and every country on the way is crossed twice. A longer stay moves a country to a longer vignette and changes the total: the planner works out your own dates.

The countries you cross, in order

  • Austria

10-day vignette, covering the 2 days you are in the country

    €18.75
official €12.80 plus our fee €5.95

  • Italy

Motorway tolls are charged per section and paid at toll stations or by transponder.

Italy charges tolls on the road instead of a vignette.

The drive

Going out through Tarvisio rather than the Brenner keeps this drive on one vignette and no barriers at all inside Austria. The A2 south from Vienna through Graz and Klagenfurt carries no section toll, unlike the A10 through the Tauern tunnels or the A13 over the Brenner. Italy starts charging at Tarvisio, on a ticket collected before Venice.

Buy these for your dates

The total above assumes a week away. Give us your real dates and we price the same drive against them.

You can buy every one of these directly from the operator and pay only the official fee: ASFINAG for Austria. What our fee buys instead.

Route and countries last checked . Prices come from the official tariffs in our catalogue and change with them. Official rules can change: check the operator for the final word.
