Vignettes from Brussels to Zurich
Via Liège, Cologne, Karlsruhe, Freiburg and the Basel crossing.
You need one vignette, Swiss.
€52.18
for a car: official fees €43.48 plus our service fee €8.70.
Costed for a return trip that leaves one day and comes back 7 days later, so the destination is covered for all 8 calendar days and every country on the way is crossed twice. A longer stay moves a country to a longer vignette and changes the total: the planner works out your own dates.
The countries you cross, in order
Belgium
No vignette and no motorway tolls for cars. The Liefkenshoek tunnel near Antwerp charges separately.
Germany
No vignette and no motorway tolls for cars.
annual vignette, covering the 8 days you are in the country
€52.18
official €43.48 plus our fee €8.70
No vignette is needed in Belgium and Germany.
The drive
The Swiss vignette is a physical sticker and it has to be glued to the inside of the windscreen. A sticker held behind the sun visor or laid on the dashboard counts as no vignette at all, and the fine is charged at the roadside along with the price of the vignette. If the windscreen is replaced during the year, the replacement needs its own sticker.
