The Moldovan vignette

Yes. A vignette is required for the relevant road use in Moldova and is registered to the vehicle details you enter.

Moldova offers 7-day, 15-day, 30-day and 90-day products for a passenger car or attached trailer.

At checkout we ask for the registration country, plate number, a 17-character VIN and the identity document series or number with its issuing country.

How do I buy this vignette online?

Confirm the licence plate, registration country and the vehicle's 17-character VIN, choose one of Moldova's four lengths, and give us your identity document series and issuing country, which the official form requires. Pay by card and we arrange the vignette; we only confirm it is active once the registration is done.

Why does Moldova's checkout ask for more than a plate?

Because the official vignette form asks for the vehicle's chassis number and the applicant's identity document series and issuing country, not the plate alone. We collect the same fields so the order can be processed exactly as the official form requires, rather than sending an incomplete one.

Which length should I choose?

The 7-day for a brief transit, the 15-day or 30-day for a longer visit, and the 90-day for the longest period we currently offer. We do not yet sell anything past 90 days; buy directly from e-Vinieta Moldova if your stay runs longer than that.

Can I buy now for a trip that starts later?

Yes. Every Moldovan length runs from a start date you choose at checkout, not from the moment you pay, so you can buy today and set the date your trip actually begins, right up to the last day the catalogue still offers.
