Il tragitto
The Polish toll on this drive is paid on the road and the Austrian one in advance. West of Poznań the A2 to the German border at Świecko is a private concession run by Autostrada Wielkopolska, which still charges cars, unlike the state-run A2 east of Konin, free for cars since 1 July 2023 (e-TOLL, checked 24 September 2026). Germany then adds nothing for more than 700 kilometres, and one Austrian vignette covers the Inntal motorway from Kufstein into Innsbruck.
